Getting Started with Coaching
Step 1
Nice to Meet You!
I'll ask you to complete a quick assessment so I can get a general understanding of what you're looking for from a coach. There's no commitment necessary. I'll get in touch and, if it feels like a good fit to both of us, then we'll move to the next step.
Step 2
Let's Talk Details
I'll send you a more detailed intake form, then we'll talk again to clearly establish your goals. From there, we can discuss which option would be best...
Option A – Monthly Coaching
We’ll talk/check-in as often as you want to. Each month you’ll get a training plan with every week and day detailed out based on your progress and feedback. It’s fully custom tailored to you and with all the structure in place — just lace up your shoes and hit your favorite running routes!
Option B – Training Plan Only
In this option, we’ll talk less often. You’ll get 3 months (or more) of custom tailored training plans, one month at a time. We’ll talk about once a month, which enables the next month’s plan to be adjusted to your progress or goals that have changed.
Option C – Single Coaching Session
A 2-hour one-on-one session. This can either be an in-person meetup/run (SF / North Bay Area), a video conference, or a phone call. I’m generally flexible on the 2-hour window running over. No worries, no surprise bills!
Step 3
Training Time
You get to the running stuff, I will follow along and adjust as necessary. If you're on the monthly coaching option, you can set the frequency of how often we touch base. I tend to follow athletes' lead on this so I wont pester you.
Step 4
Happier, Healthier, Stronger You!
You'll be training, we'll be talking. I love to be part of the progression of athletes I work with and it's even better when we can share some miles on the roads or trails. Every step you take brings you closer to achieving your goals and I've got your back.
